Sash windows

Sash windows are a historical part of London's architecture. They have been around for a very long time and some of the original windows are still in use today! How is this possible you may ask? The answer is MAINTENANCE!! 

They must be painted regularly to keep moisture out of the wood. They should be serviced as needed, which involves replacing sash cords, staff and parting beads and pullies.

If you have rotten sections of timber in the window or the cill our carpenters can cut it out and replace it with a new section of timber (within reason, sometimes the rot is too far advanced).
